Ways to Donate

At Harmony and Salmon Creek schools, we don’t ask our children to go door-to-door selling magazines, cookie dough, or wrapping paper. In our community, where your nearest neighbor could be a mile down the road, it is impractical, if not impossible. Instead, Harmony Ark raises funds for our schools through the following ways:

Every fall, Harmony Ark launches our direct donations campaign in the form of a letter to parents. Pledges are solicited, and plans for the following year’s spending are developed. Direct donations, however, are not limited to parents. Anyone can support the work of Harmony Ark! We encourage donations from businesses, family members, and the Occidental community
Our annual Spring Auction is Harmony Ark’s most important fundraising event of the year. Through the generosity of merchants, parents, teachers, staff, and community members, fabulous auction donations are provided. They make the event a fun, exciting, and rewarding night. We need your help – it can’t happen without you!
Many retailers generously support our schools through rebate programs. It’s simple: you shop; they donate, based on a percentage of your purchases. By registering your grocery loyalty cards or credit cards, shopping online at participating sites, and patronizing the stores of participating merchants, rebate checks flow into the Ark’s mailbox all year long.
